40 bit float

how to define a 40 bit float in assembly language??

Even i clear the rnd32 bit ,the float is also 32bit. i want use the synax:  F0=16.8888888,   To  creat a 40 bit float,it turn out to be a 32 bit float;

Somebody can help me with this question??
