Is sharc+ DSP core processor substitute for Tigersharc..performance wise. Any guide explains the differences?
I don't see any documentation that explains the performance differences between the TS201S or TS101S TigerSHARC compared to the SC59x/2159x SHARC+ processors. The VLIW architecture on the TigerSHARC is quite different than the SHARC+ SIMD core architecture. The SC59x/2159x SHARC+ family contain two SHARC+ cores that run at up to 1GHz and they contain hardware accelerators for FIR and IIR filtering, as well as many more peripherals than the TigerSHARC processors offered. I would suggest that you look at the data sheet for these processor families to get more details on their capabilites:
