The HRM for the SC589  for gatherer looks conflicting

The Parameter settings  box says EMDMA_INDX0 = Source.

 But the Picture says Destination?

Also the EMDMA_MOD1 / MOD0 =1 

The doc says that the EMDMA is word based not byte indexed like the normal  DMA

So does that mean the MODx=1 is a word size  jump in memory and the TAP list entries Offsets are Word Sized offsets

IE offset 1 = 4 bytes  in memory address.

I really hope someone can help with the Gather DMA

Below is what I have setup. But the Dest Buffer never changes.

It should copy the source 1 to 10 to the dest 1 to 10

All the arrays are defined in Core 1 L1 memory

please help. we have been trying ever combo for a week now

While testing the code we can  able to receive data in destination buffer. Please try with enabling SPU158 secure register for EMDMA channel. Please check the attached screen shot.

The *pREG_SPU0_SECUREP158=0x3; was not set
