SC573 Ezkit CAN/MMC pin conflict

Question

The Linux documentation states: " For ADSP -SC573 Ezkit, Users should additionally disable the MMC support from Linux Kernel menuconfig due to pin conflict. Please refer to Mobile Storage Interface for MMC / SD ." 
 (1) Does this mean that neither CAN interface can be used in an application that also uses the MMC/SD card? I need the higher speed one (TJA1145). 
 (2) Is this a limitation only with Linux, or also with bare metal applications? 
 (3) Are there any more details about exactly what the "pin conflict" is, i.e. which peripheral/signal? Both SD and CAN are required for my evaluation, I don't mind hacking the board if I need to.

Hi, The CAN0 pins are multiplexed with MSI0 pin. Therefore, you cannot use both CAN0 and MSI0 in the same application. Please refer to the attached image. If you want to use both in your application, please consider using CAN1, as the CAN1 pins do not conflict with those MSI0 pins.
