ADSP-SC58x/2158x UART - Code Example

Attached  test is to check the RS-232 communication with PC using UART. In this code, UART receives a character from the PC and loops it back. So, at the hyperterminal,  the character sent out should be echoed back.

    Please see the attached standalone code which works fine using CCES.

    In order to test this:

    • Connect the USB to UART cable to the board and use Termite.
    • Settings: 19200, 1 stop bit, 8 bit data, no parity, no flow control.
    • USB to UART is connected to UART0, so this is configured in the code.
    • Whatever is typed in the console, same is received or echoed back.

    You can use this as reference.
