How to Invalidate Data Cache from ARM Core on ADSP-SC594?

You can use the flush_data_buffer() function in ARM core as well.

Please include the below header file in ARM core which includes Cache management APIs and definitions.
#include <runtime/cache/adi_cache.h>

For examples, please download the latest BSP package“ADSP-SC59x/2159x EZ-KIT Board Support Package” from the below link:
www.analog.com/.../ev-sc594-som.html

After the installation, please refer the “EMDMA Standard” example from the below path which uses flush_data_buffer() API in ARM core.

Thank you for your previous response regarding data cache management on the ADSP-SC594 ARM core.

I appreciate the guidance on using the flush_data_buffer() API.

However, I already understood that the flush_data_buffer() API is available from the ARM core and can perform both flush and invalidate. (depending on the third argument).

My first question is how to invalidate without flushing the data cache. (I explained a little less than I should have.)

Do you know if there is a way to do this with ARM cores on ADSP-SC 594?

If you know of one, it would be very helpful if you could provide a code example or related documentation.
