HADC/TMU are not supported in the ADSP-2156x processors for all silicon revisions. The HADC and TMU have known reliability risk which may cause the HADC/TMU to stop working on some parts over time. Analog Devices, Inc. does not support or guarantee the correct operation of the TMU at any time on the ADSP-21566/21567/21569 processors and the feature has been removed from the data sheet.
Why is this not in the Silicon Anomaly List (ADSP-21562/21563/21565/21566/21567/21569) NR004735F February 2021? Or is the above statement not valid anymore?
Hi,
This Ezone thread is outdated. Now, both TMU and HADC features are supported in ADSP-2156x products.

Great. Thank you for your answer.
Hi,
Divya.P writes: "Now, both TMU and HADC features are supported in ADSP-2156x products."
However, the latest Anomaly list Rev. G (04/07/2023) contains ID 20000105 "Housekeeping ADC (HADC) and Thermal Monitor Unit (TMU) Blocks Are Not Functional" for Rev. 0.0 of the 21569.
We use 21569KBCZ10 with datecode 2118, 2202 and 2237, these are all Rev. 0.0. In addition, we have samples of the 21569BBCZ10 with datecode 2051 but Rev. 0.2. Currently we do not need the HADC yet, but we want to do so.
My questions:
- From which datecode is the 21569KBCZ10 rev. 0.2?
- What does "HADC is not functional" mean? Are there only restrictions or can it not be used at all?
Thank you

Will get back to you on the other question as soon as possible.
