The BS flag is not accessible by the user. The purpose of the BS flag is to serve the DS28EC20 so that a Copy Scratchpad is blocked if a Read Memory or an Extended Read Memory command is launched right after a Write Scratchpad. This means that a Copy Scratchpad command always has to be preceded by a Write Scratchpad command.
