Since the Old ADSP-2181 being obsoleted, would you recommend moving to ADSP-2188N? Software port and etc is a delimiter to move to Shark and/or Blackfin.

I would like to clarify we do not have any plans to obsolete the ADSP-2181. As mentioned in my previous post, the current production availability is 5-7 years. After this period, there are chances that the production availability might get extended.
The reason why we recommend our Blackfin and SHARC processors for a new design is that they have better features in terms of memory, performance, peripherals etc and would better fit the application requirements.
