Hello, I'm J.O.Bae, purchasing manager working at a company in Korea, Republic of.
On a date of 23 Sep., I noticed there's been critical PDN, which conveys the information of end of life for the subject ADSP-TS20 series product line. Actually, this PDN brought us huge concern as our company has almost completed final development phase of certain kind of development programs with adopting one of this product family, the specific part number is 'ADSP-TS201SABP-060'. Nowadays, our company has been implementing finalization of the said programs and those are expected to have order placement for its' required components starting from 2018 and a overall tentative quantity for the part number is more over 3,200 units.
In this regard, I'd like to ask your reconsideration if there's any chance to confer with the said wafer fab, 'Global foundries', to extent the published LTB by additional 2 more years. Until the existing LTB, the end of this year, we cannot place an order since the said programs would not be completed officially and the budget would not be allocated as well.
