Question 10ch Analog Audio IN and 1ch Analog Audio OUT using ADZS-SC589-EZLITE.

Thread Summary

The user is designing a 10ch audio input and 1ch audio output system using the ADZS-SC589-EZLITE, which is originally designed for 4ch audio inputs and 4ch audio outputs. The final answer suggests selecting an appropriate ADC and referring to the ADZS-SC589-EZLITE schematics for modifications. The user also inquires about an RTC circuit issue with a SuperCap not charging, which is directed to an existing thread for further discussion.

Dear ADI or anyone,

I'm going to design for 10ch audio inputs & an 1ch audio out using ADZS-SC589.

ADZS-SC589-EZLITE is designed 4ch audio inputs and 4ch audio outs.
So, It is need to modify circuits of ADZS-SC589-EZLITE for my project.
But, I'm not sure what modify circuits.

Please, inform me solutions.

Thank you.
Best Regards,
Inho Jeon.

  • Hi,

As you know ADSP-SC589 EZLITE board has 4 In/Out audio channels. If you need to use 10ch audio inputs & an 1ch audio out, you have to choose the ADC accordingly.

It seems you are already referring ADZS-SC589-EZLITE schematics, we would suggest you to refer the same.

    Regards,
    Anand Selvaraj.

  • Dear Anand,

    I have a question.

Below this is a RTC part of schematics for ADSP-SC589 EZLITE.

    PDF

I apply SuperCap(that spec is attached a file) to RTC battery(J1).

But SuperCap is not charged powered on in 12hours.
    (The Supercap is measured 0V)

    So, I have a question.

Is that RTC circuit need to modified? Or need to setting register of ADSP-SC589?

    Please, reply my question.

    Thank you.

    Best Regards,
