How to specify DM and place blocks in SigmaStudio

Category: Software
Product Number: ADAU1452
Software Version: SigmaStudio4.7

I would like to use two noise reduction circuits for the ADI algorithm on the ADAU1452.
When I compiled it, it was impossible due to insufficient DataMemory capacity.

When I checked only the noise reduction 1 circuit of the sample, more than half of the capacity of "DM0" was used.
If we can specify some blocks for "DM1", we think that it is possible to use two systems.

Is there a way to specify "DM1" and place the circuit?

  • Hello Takahiro,

I will discuss this with the programming team. The compiler assigns the memory usage and there may be a reason why it needs to be in DM0.

I would like to see your project so I can show it to the programming team for testing.

If you can send it through our ADI office in Japan that would be helpful.

    Thanks,

    Dave T
