How to interface my AD9629-40EZ with the ADSP-BF526 EZ-KIT?

Hi,

I have an AD9629-40EZ evaluation board and I would like to implement DSP on the output by using the ADSP-BF526 EZ-KIT lite. The ADC will sample at MHz. Could the Expansion Interface II on the ADSP-BF526 EZ-kit provide the interface for this? or will I need to use a some sort of custom design daughter board to implement the my ADC?

Hope you can help.

Kind regards,

Les.

  • Hi Les,

I do not have much experience with this myself but there's an Application Notes that may help you as it describes how to use the PPI of the BF533/BF561 to interface with the AD6652 which perhaps may be of use to you. The application note is called: AN-813 - Interfacing the ADSP-BF533/ADSP-BF561 BlackfinRegistered Processors to High Speed Parallel ADCs, which is available here: www.analog.com/processors/tools/ee-notes

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Colin.
