Placement of code and data

I am using ADSP SC 589 and CCES 2.8.0. How can I put a code( .doj) at a particular location of my choice?

I am unable to find examples for placement of code using ADSP SC 589.

    Please note that, By default the ARM default linker definition scripts for ADSP-SC5xx processors place the users' code and data in to L3 memory. L3 is chosen for placement because the amount of L2 memory available to the ARM core is limited.

    Also please refer the below CCES help page for more details:-

    CrossCore Embedded Studio 2.x.x > ARM Development Tools Documentation > Cortex-A > Analog Devices ARM Toolchain Manual > Analog Devices Specific Linker Support > Placement of Code and Data in Memory

    For SHARC+, to map the code or data in sdram or L2 _sram, we would suggest you to look on "app.ldf" file available in the projects System folder. In which, you could able to find the input sections for the all the internal and external memory's with their different banks or blocks. With use of the input section you can map the code/data as the example given below in " .c " file.

    #pragma section ("seg_l2_uncached")
    void func1 (void )

    // Custom code

    #pragma section ("sdram0_bank2")

    void func2 (void )

    // Custom code

    #pragma section ("seg_l2_uncached")

    unsigned int ARRAY[Size]={0};

    Please let me know if you need any clarification on this.
