Hi guys,

 
     How does one send an image captured and stored in the Blackfin memory through the ethernet and into a server? Does sending an image through the ethernet treat an image as an array of which the elements are sent through using a for loop? Or does it treat an image as a single entity? I really need to know since I need to send a great number of images through the ethernet and into a server. Again, I would appreciate any help.

    Hi Allan,
    
 
    Take a look at the FileServerStdio example found in <VDSP_Installation>\Blackfin\Examples\USB-LAN EZ-EXTENDER\LAN\ directory.  If you follow this example, you can open a file pointer to memory on a server and treat the image as a data buffer as you would in any other fread/fwrite usage.
