I was wondering if there is a standalone application available for programming the internal FLASH that does not require the VisualDSP++ IDE.
I have a BF504F application which executes some code directly from the internal FLASH and some from SRAM. In development, I use the VisualDSP++ IDE to load the FLASH code at 0x2002 0000 and the FLASH programming tool to load the SRAM code in the .ldr file at 0x2000 0000 as described in http://ez.analog.com/docs/DOC-1274.
Is anyone aware of a standalone utility that could be used in production? It seems a waste to purchase another VisualDSP++ seat just to program parts.
Hi, just on a sidenote, we have made good experience with the bfloader software from section5 to program flashes (for the BF539F). Worked from the spot, we especially liked the sector map display which makes the LDF and extra image mapping less error prone. Also, it is bloody fast. With help from section5 we got their command line version interfaced with our ICT box such that we can program several units automatically in parallel. Saves us a LOT of time!
