BOOTFLASH:SPI:AT45DB321D-SU 32 MB,so please tel me 32 mb will be support for ADSP-BF525

Hi,

   We are using the ADSP-BF525,We already have SPI :AT45DB161D 16 mb  bootflash source code it is working .Now we are plannig to use SPI:AT45DB321D-SU 32 MB,so please tel me 32 mb will be support for ADSP-BF525, if it support please send me the any source code available for 32 mb bootflash.

    Hello Ranjith,

    Support in what sense? Booting or simply interfacing ...

    for booting: the boot ROM of processor supports booting from 8/16/24-bit addressable SPI memories (with a READ opcode of 0x03). So, as long as serial flash supports the expected read sequence, it is safe at the timings side... Refer EE-240 for SPI flash boot timing.

    If you are using SPI flash for non-booting purpose, SPI can send as many address bytes as required.

    Make sure that other electric/AC specifications are acceptable.
