Hi i am having a visual dsp example project and i want to run it in CCES, can i just copy the source code to CCES and compile it ? My project i need to convert is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Analog Devices\VisualDSP 5.1.2\Blackfin\Examples\ADSP-BF533 EZ-KIT Lite\LED Blink (C)
Hi Thanh,Please find the CCES examples from the ADSP-BF533 board support package. You can download and install the BSP (Board support package) for ADSP-BF533 in the below link.download.analog.com/.../ADI_ADSP-BF533_EZKIT-Rel1.0.1.exeOnce you installed, you can find the example code from the below mentioned installation path.[Installation Directory]:\Analog Devices\ADSP-BF533_EZKIT-Rel1.0.1\BF533_EZ-Kit_Lite\Blackfin\ExamplesRegarding the code conversion from VDSP to CCES.>> While migrating from VDSP to CCES, there are a number of ways in which VisualDSP++ applications differ from CCES applications: RTOS, interrupt handling, SSL/DD APIs, and more. If your VisualDSP++ application uses such mechanisms, you have to make corresponding changes to your application's source code before the application can build in CCES. Similarly, if your application uses a customized LDF, the LDF may make references to libraries that are not used in CCES, or omit ones that are.More information about importing VisualDSP++ project files into CrossCore Embedded Studio is available at:ez.analog.com/.../faq-importing-visualdsp-project-files-to-crosscore-embedded-studioWe would also recommend reading the Getting Started with CrossCore Embedded Studio FAQ:ez.analog.com/.../crosscore-embedded-studio-getting-startedWe have a number of CCES introductory videos on our Analog Devices Video Channel. These videos are also indexed on the CrossCore Embedded Studio product page.www.analog.com/.../adswt-cces.htmlRegards,Anand Selvaraj.
