Hi support team, my company is using ADSP BF533 for developing our product and i need to test some example audio processing code on BF533. But i do not know which ADSP BF533 Kit is suitable with my product. My product is a device work with TDM signal. I have read ADZS-BF533-EZLITE and it seem good but i am not sure. Could you advise me some board to test ADSP BF533. About the software for complie code, i have read Crosscore embedded studio and visualDSP++ but i do not know which one is more suitable with BF533 ?
Hi Thanh,I would suggest you to refer the POST example code where you can find the audio loopback example in TDM mode. For the POST example code please install ADSP BF533 Board Support Package from the below link, download.analog.com/tools/EZBoards/BF533/Releases/Release_1.0.1/ADI_ADSP-BF533_EZKIT-Rel1.0.1.exeRegarding" have read Crosscore embedded studio and visualDSP++ but i do not know which one is more suitable with BF533 ?">> The audio loopback code has been build on CrossCore Embedded Studio which will be easy to import if you are using BF533-EZLITE kit.Regards,Anand Selvaraj.
I have bought an ADZS-BF533-EZLITE kit on digikey but when i check it, i found that the JTAG pin only have 13 pin (the pin number 3 has broken down). I do not know this is a problem or the pin number 3 is not necessary ?
Could i have your email address or skype or what 's app ... ? Because i am new in Backfin ADSP, so i is nice if i would have many help from analog device.
Hi Thanh,As mentioned in the application note(EE-68), "the 'Pin 3' of the JTAG emulator cable header is keyed to prevent accidental insertion of the pod with the target backwards. You should clip pin 3 on your target board header to allow insertion of the JTAG emulator cable female header".For more information, please refer the application note(EE-68) which talks about "Analog Devices JTAG Emulation Technical Reference". The link is given below.www.analog.com/.../ee-68.pdfRegards,Anand Selvaraj.
