Minimum Voltage threshold on USB0_VUSB in BF707?

Thread Summary

The user inquired about the allowable VBUS voltage drop when using a long USB cable with the ADSP-BF707. The minimum VBUS voltage is 4.40V for low-power ports and 4.75V for high-power ports, according to the USB 2.0 Specification. A VUSB of 4.75V is acceptable for normal operation.

Hi,

While use ADSP-BF707 with long length USB Cable, USB0-VUSB is about 4V due to cable Vdrop.

What is the allowable Vdrop? voltage threshold to work normally with some Vdrop?  I know that the spec is 5V, by the way 4.75V is ok? or should be 5V exactly?

Best Regards,
