after some days of unsuccessful tries to get a BF707 to receive SPI0 data in quad slave mode, my last hope is that someone else knows more than me.There are statements in the datasheets and the hardware manuals that quad mode SPI is only possible on SPI2, but there are also other statements that the BF70x supports quad SPI on SPI0 AND SPI2. Please let me know, what is true. Thanks kms
Good Day Lalitha,
thanks for the answer. But this isn't what I was asking about. I'm not talking about booting. In the Hardware Reference Manual there are several places, always in brackets "(SPI2 only)", when describing the quad SPI mode. Whereas, for example in the datasheet, when looking at the BF70x comparison table You read about 2 SPI modules supporting quad modes. Best regards kms
I'm now using the SPI0 in quad SPI slave mode and master mode combined with DMAs in both directions. Works well. If someone needs assistance for setting all the bits in the numerous registers - please contact me for help. Posting all the code sequences here seems to be quite complicated. Regards.
