I'm planning on using the BF707 (ADSP-BF707KBCZ-3) in SPI slave boot mode, so no external DDR2/3 is needed. However, I can't find any place that specifies how to terminate all the unused DMC0 pins. Is it okay to leave these floating? Do the VDD_DMC balls still need to be powered?
Please note that, " If the DMC is not used, that should be connect to VDD_INT". You can find this information from ADSP-BF70x DESIGNER QUICK REFERENCE section (PageNo:37 / 116). This provides a quick reference summary of pin related information for circuit board design.http://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/data-sheets/adsp-bf700_bf701_bf702_bf703_bf704_bf705_bf706_bf707.pdf
Thanks for the reply. I see that note for the VDD_DMC supply. However, there is no such note for the data, address, and control signals. I just want to make sure it's okay to leave those floating. Reset and internal termination for each of these lines shows "none."
Yes, unused DMC pins can be left floating.
