UART voltage level

Question

Hello, 
 It says in the specifications sheet of ADSP-CM40x that: 
 " The processor provides full-duplex universal asynchronous receiver/transmitter (UART) ports, which are fully compatible with PC-standard UARTs." 
 Considering the sentence "fully compatible with PC-standard UARTs", does it imply anything for voltage level? (e.g. 5V, because modern PC are used with TTL usb-to-uart converters)
