All conditions that occur /SYS_FAULT assert

Hello,

What art All conditions that occur /SYS_FAULT assert in the system using ADSP-21569?

I can't find above in the ADSP21-5xx HRM.

  • Hi,

    Apologies for delay in response.

Here are the few examples for SYS_FAULT assert,

    1. SYS_FAULT -Active, High, Fault Output. Indicates internal faults or senses external faults depending on the operating mode.
2.SYS_FAULT - Active, Low, Fault Output. Indicates internal faults or senses external faults depending on the operating mode.
3.The CGU_OSCWDCTL register configures the CGU to allow the detection of the absence of input clock transitions and provides a fault warning via the SYS_FAULT pin.
4.The CRC peripheral can enable certain CRC status operations to generate an interrupt event to the system event controller. There, a CRC error can be qualified as a system fault.

System event controller (SEC) further supports fault management, including fault action configuration as timeout, internal indication by system interrupt, or external indication through the SYS_FAULT pin and system reset.

For further Clarrification on Fault management please refer System Fault Interface (SFI) in Pg No: 187 in ADSP-21569 HRM.
