OSPI connect to FPGA on 21569

Because the ADSP-21569 is lack of the async memory interface, it can't connect to one FPGA  directly,  the OSPI can work in the memory map mode, is it possible to  connect with one FPGA just like the memory access mode?  do you have similar case before?

    Hi,

Whether OSPI can be used to communicate to FPGA, it depend on what type of interface is implemented on FPGA side. Its true that OSPI controller is specifically designed to access flash devices. Keep in mind that OSPI can only act as a master interface so if FPGA is to be connected to this interface, FPGA must only act a slave and cannot in any case initiate a transaction to OSPI, but should respond to the transactions initiated by OPSI controller.

FPGA will have to closely mimic the flash memory style response to make best out of OSPI . For general use, the FPGA must at minimum follow an SPI slave protocol.
