Summary: u-boot does not boot on BF526 EZKIT from NOR flash
I built a u-boot.ldr from latest trunk for bf526-ezkit, and programmed it in the NOR flash on the board through jtag. The u-boot didn't boot, I saw nothing on minicom.

please verify that the binary posted to the u-boot project boots and verify that
you are doing a cold boot (aka hardware reset or power cycle)
software reset will not work

u-boot-bf526-ezkit-para.ldr downloaded from u-boot release page does not boot

then verify your bootmode and other such jumpers. you should also test booting
over SPI and UART as both of those work for me.
i think Bryan had things working ? so you can compare your board to his ...

I failed to make the BF526-EZKIT work on my side, because I didn't program the
ldr to the board. So Jie is trying to help to fix here.
Actually, I am debugging the BF527-EZKIT board with BF526 processor bug.

the jumper/switch settings should be pretty much the same as the bf527-ezkit.
so make sure all the important pieces are the same.

Could you send me a photo of your bf526 ezkit, such that I can compare the

you can find documentation here:

Yeah, the jumper was not removed from JP2 (loopback). It looks well after it's
removed. Not a bug. Close.

Yes, the board is ok for both U-BOOT and kernel.
But it still failed on BF527-EZKIT board with BF526 installed.
Even same kernel and same uboot.

Robin said to just throw away that board. focus on the real bf526-ezkit. there
wont be anymore bf527-ezkit's with a bf526 on them ... that was a limited run to
help verify the silicon worked.

BF526 CCLK max is 400MHz.
>But it still failed on BF527-EZKIT board with BF526 installed.
Even when setting CCLK = 400MHz ...
I found the same thing.
