2011-09-09 18:34:49     Back to u-boot prompt: how?

I've succesfully compiled and run, with u-boot bootelf command, the firsts bare-metal applications such as led blinking and "hello world" via uart: everithing work fine.

But when main() returns boards (BF537-STAMP) hangs and no u-boot prompt is shown. I've understand that application could have damaged u-boot itself, so, how one can instruct compiler and linker to preserve u-boot code and back to it after main() return?

Many thanks!

Lapo

This is more like a u-boot question, so should be asked on u-boot help forum.
