Hi,

how can I define new environment variables in the board-headerfile? Right now, I'm only able to redefine exsisting variables like
# define FLASHBOOT_ENV_SETTINGS "flashboot=sf probe 1; sf read $(loadaddr) 0x180000 0x680000; bootm $(loadaddr)"
but I'm not able to generate new entries like
#define MY_FIRST_NEW_VAR test
FLASHBOOT_ENV_SETTINGS is an ADI-board specific convention.  u-boot itself only uses CONFIG_EXTRA_ENV_SETTINGS.

please read include/configs/bfin_adi_common.h for more information.

Thanks Mike,

CONFIG_EXTRA_ENV_SETTINGS was what I was looking for.

best regards

Henning
