2011-03-17 08:22:36     BF561 support 128MByte SDRAM?

In my BF561 Dev Board, mount two 64MByte SDRAM(IS42S16320B).

I modify the u-boot for support 128M SDRAM.

#define CONFIG_MEM_ADD_WDTH    10

#define CONFIG_MEM_SIZE        128

But boot failed.

How to do?

When using:

#define CONFIG_MEM_ADD_WDTH    9

#define CONFIG_MEM_SIZE        64

It's work.

Thanks.

u-boot only automagically supports 1 SDRAM chip.  if you use multiple ones, you'll need to define the SDRAM MMR values yourself.

Another option is you can use the feature of "Re-program settings while kernel boots" to re-configure the SDRAM controller as needed. Example for re-program the clock setting: make menuconfig -> Blackfin Processor Options -> Board customization ->Re-program Clocks whill kernel boots
