Hello All,

We have a project, and it's just in mass production stage, but we encounter a "nand scrub" problem, and it's the message for one unit below.

Erasing at 0xb80000 --   9% complete.

NAND 128MiB 3,3V 8-bit: MTD Erase failure: -5

Erasing at 0x7fe0000 -- 100% complete.

Is it normal? Can I and how to mark or escape this bad block area? I use "nand markbad 0xb80000" to mark the bad block, then run "nand scrub" again, but this failure message still exists.

Thanks in advance.

this is expected behavior with NAND.  you rarely get a device from the manuf with no bad blocks.
