Hi,

The u-boot default settings that we customize in the /include/configs/<board>.h files lets us choose between UART0 or 1 for u-boot console. UART1 defauts to UART1 Port F. But since these lines are muxed with PPI on BF527, I would like to use the UART1 PortG for u-boot console so the PortF lines are free for PPI peripherals.

Is there any way to do that by defining some parameters in the board header file, or I will have to change the u-boot source for that.

Thanks

Ashish

use the same defines as linux.  review arch/blackfin/include/asm/mach-bf527/portmux.h if you need more info.

Thanks for quick response! for the benefit of others :

I just added defined the MACRO  "CONFIG_BF527_UART1_PORTG" in the board configuration file and u-boot now boots with console on UART1 Port G.
