Hello,

I have designed BF532 based custom board .On this board I have provided 128Mbits of spi flash,64Mb SDRAM & no parallel flash.Designed system doesnt have any bootloader package, so in order to port U-boot on system which boot mode I should prefer in board configuration file?

Please guide me in this issue.

Thank You.

When I will load u-boot through JTAG ,it will first loaded into SDRAM, then how blackfin excutes that code?

Whether I select bypass mode for initially?

the bootmode is irrelevant if loading via JTAG.  please read the documentation:

http://docs.blackfin.uclinux.org/doku.php?id=bootloaders:u-boot:debugging#jtag_loading

Ok .

So when u-boot is loaded on SDRAM ,

how should I boot that boot-loader?

If I want to boot boot loader from SPI flash next time onwards then I need to again load new boot loader package with boot mode selected as spi flash slave?

if not what should I do for that? because my final aim is to boot system from SPI flash everytime I reset the board.

Thank You.

So I need to write the configuration mentioned in above link in my configuration file of u-boot & then I can probe my S25FL128P on board flash ,am I right?

And for booting from SPI flash next time onwards I should refer Booting mentioned in same document?

Thank You.
