I am trying to build u-boot-2008.10-2009R1-rc3 for the bf527-ezkit.  I can build it successfully if I simply unzip the files and type 'make bf527-ezkit'.  However, if I then go into include/configs/bf527-ezkit.h and uncomment line 63 so that CONFIG_BFIN_NFC is now defined, it no longer builds.  The errors look like they are related to ethernet, which is expected because you can't enable both at once.  However, line 78 seems to handle this with an ifdef to basically not configure the network if that setting is defined.

Here is the initial errors in my compiler output:

/uClinux/bfin-uclinux/lib/gcc/bfin-uclinux/4.1.2 -lgcc -Map u-boot.map -o u-boot

I am attaching the full compile log.  What am I doing wrong?

Thanks, Randy

you usually have to do `make clean` after changing the config file to force all objects to be rebuilt

That did it.  I thought sure I had tried that, but apparently not.  Thanks for your help once again.
