I have to write a small (configuration) application that will be started from the u-boot prompt. A small hello_world-like application works well, but as a newbie to u-boot, I am wondering if I can use e.g. sprintf in my application. I found that it is defined in common.h, but I get errors when linking. I tried to include libgeneric.a when linking, but then I get even more errors, coming from that library. I think I'm still missing a small part to make this work... someone can give me a hint...?

(I'm using the 2009 toolchain - u-boot 1.1.6 - in attachment the Makefile I use)

Thanks !

the only functions you can use in stand alone applications are the ones that are explicitly exported.  that means only the ones listed in exports.h.
