Hi,

I am working with BF527 Ezkit. board. blackfin uClinux trunk u-boot version.

at which location the port muxing registers configuration has been done in u-boot.

later we will be working with the custom board with BF527 that time this information helps us in configuring the port muxing registers at the appropriate place.

Thankyou.

there is no such location.  portmux registers only get touched when they are needed, otherwise they get left alone.

Hi Mike,

The function in the drivers/bfin_mac.c has the port mux registers configured for BF52x.

static int SetupSystemRegs(int *opmode)

this is called when we do the tftp of the uImage. these registers are configured for the Bf527 ezkit and these port registers need to be configured according to the system designed. some pins are used as PF and some as pheripherals. so to do these changes for the custom board i have these doubts. can you please suggest me where i can add these codes for the custom u-boot.

Thank you.

no, the registers are configured for the MAC in either RMII or MII mode.  the platform used is irrelevant.

presumably you're looking at 2008R1.5 or older.  the muxing has been fixed long since in newer versions.
