Hello,

does there exist any driver for the enc28j60 spi/ethernet chip? The one in the drivers directory seems to be limited only for some ARM proc.

Yes - I think Michael had it working on a Blackfin.

 

I don't think there is anything processor specific about it - it all uses the standard SPI framework which any modern SoC should support.

The driver under uClinux is fine, but in the U-Boot there are several ARM specific functions (eg. PUT32,...). File drivers/net/enc28j60.c. I hope I will be able to correct it.

your findings are correct.  there are no plans for us to fix up the u-boot driver at this time.
