HI

A quick answer.

Get familiar with the documentation you will learn a lot and save a lot of time waiting for answers to questions that are already covered.

This file is for the uart load.

http://blackfin.uclinux.org/gf/download/frsrelease/395/4898/u-boot-bf537-stamp-uart-2008R1.5.ldr

This file is for plasing in flash.

http://blackfin.uclinux.org/gf/download/frsrelease/395/4903/u-boot-bf537-stamp-bypass-2008R1.5.bin

Read the doc to find out how to switch boot modes from uart load to  flash

http://docs.blackfin.uclinux.org/doku.php?id=bootloaders:u-boot:loading

VIsual DSP++ and widows will NOT help you much with linux development.

I would suggest that you learn to work with a native linux install for development.

(Ubuntu is quite easy to install but Read the Documentation about the things you need to add to the

basic distribution )

http://docs.blackfin.uclinux.org/doku.php?id=installing_linux

If you need jtag debug I can suggest the gnuICE system.

All I have time for right now

  Hope this helps

Thanks a lot Phil,

I used USB connection between BF537 EZKIT and computer. So i think there should be a way to load boot file into EZDSP via USB connection.  Please confirm my steps below;

By the way i m also a red-had linux user and have red-hat linux operating system.

1. Download one of u-boot files. Compile it via G++

How i will load this file into EZDSP without Visual DSP++

2. Download mClinux kernel. Compile it via G++

How i will load it into EZDSP via u-boot.

if you can give more info i will be very pleased.

Thanks,
