Hi,

I have downloaded u-boot-1.1.6-2008R1.5.tar.bz2 from the site. While compiling I'm getting the following error.

bfin-uclinux-ldr -T bf548-0.0 -f -c u-boot.ldr u-boot --bmode para --use-vmas --initcode cpu/blackfin/initcode.o --punchit $(((0x20002000 - 0x20000000))):$((0x2000)):env-ldr.o --dma 6

create: unrecognized option `--bmode'

bfin-uclinux-ldr: Unknown option '?' or argument missing

Backtrace:

bfin-uclinux-ldr(error_backtrace+0x35)[0x804bafe]

bfin-uclinux-ldr[0x804a8fb]

bfin-uclinux-ldr(main+0x564)[0x804b28f]

/lib/tls/libc.so.6(__libc_start_main+0xd3)[0x22ae23]

bfin-uclinux-ldr[0x8049a41]

make: *** [u-boot.ldr] Error 1

How to solve this?

Thanks,

Maha

Did you install all proper 2008R1.5 toolchain packages?

Hi,

The problem is because of the version mismatch. The version of my toolchain is 2008R1 but mistakely I have compiled for u-boot version 2005R1.5. Again I tried with compiled u-boot-1.1.6-2008R1. It got compiled now.

Thanks for your reply,

Regards,

Maha
