Does u-boot currently support loading uImage from SPI FLASH?  I looked at the online docs and only saw the bootm command and think this only refers to parallel FLASH.  Anybody know if this will require a lot of effort?

Thanks,

David Kasper

bootm does not refer to any flash type at all.  it operates on memory.  so with SPI flash, you need to manually copy the file out of the serial flash before using bootm on it.

I just added :

https://docs.blackfin.uclinux.org/doku.php?id=bootloaders:u-boot:serial-flash#booting

Does that cover things?
