Message: 54089    Hi,

I'm looking for USB support on BF548. I'm trying to minimize the production programming times by loading minimalistic u-boot with USB host support over UART and then execute the script to flash from USB stick files. Did somebody managed to implement USB support for this CPU in U-Boot? If so -- please point me to the instructions.

Thanks.

No one (that I am aware of) has done this yet.

Message: 54207    Actually, I am doing that right now.

The status is that I ported the corresponding Linux USB Host Controller code to U-Boot completely for use with USB mass storage devices in U-Boot.

How well it is working is a whole different matter though. So far, I haven't had time to kill the numerous bugs, which it certainly has. If you want I can keep you posted on the progress ... but don't expect miracles

Message: 54215    Difficult. It's not that I don't wanna give it to you, it's that I can't. It's a university project I get graded for and naturally it has to be mine. I have been working on it for quite some time already and haven't achieved too much yet Ok, I have a huge bunch of code theoretically offering all the features but so far it's not working and I have to start debugging from the beginning to figure out why. I am expecting some progress in the next two weeks though. After that I am kinda running out of time anyway and will just have to go with whatever I have then and get a grade for that. After that you can have it all and try making something out of it if you want. If you think you can do it in two weeks though, you should probably do it yourself, because that might be safer for you ...

Actually yes. It's slowly advancing. Current state is that I have control traffic, hot plugging, enumeration and identification working. My stick is identified as supporting the BBB protocol and last time I got stuck in the bulk transfers. Somehow they are not right yet.
