How do you add LCD support to uboot to post a bitmap message after power up?

It takes about 8 seconds for our application to startup from flash and show an image. In that time we would like to have something showing on the LCD.

Also, do you think the booting of Linux will stop the frame buffer from running?  Meaning, will we get an interruption in the LCD displaying between the Uboot screen and our application running?

I am using the BF537 EZ-Kit Lite board, and have modified the BF537-lq035.c driver file to run our LCD in uClinux (which works fine).

How do I get the BF537-lq035.c driver to run under Uboot?

Thanks

Message: 52348    we have splash examples for the BF548 and BF527 ezkits in the 2008R1 / trunk of u-boot

just look at board/bf548-ezkit/video.c in trunk
