Helllo everyone.

I add a custom board on Bf533-EZLITE board, and use K9F1208 as nandflash on the custom board.

The problem is I can get ID and read from the flash. But when I try to write data on the flash, U-boot1.16 DEBUG show that it is complete. However, all the data read back from the flash is "0xFF".

I check the datasheet of the flash  the flash driver of U-boot, and have not found where the problem is .

Would anyone tell me what is wrong.

Any reply would be appreciate. Thanks.

it would probably be easier if you got it working in Linux first, then you know your hardware is OK

Thanks Mike

I have porting Linux and yaffs on the board.

The kernel can find the nand flash device and mount it. But when mount again after umount, nothing has been saved.

I try cat /dev/mtd3(nand flash device), also get 0xff. I think the problem is just the same as it in U-boot.

The odd thing is no error or warning message is reported.

If it is the hardware problem, I can do all other operation except write. Anyone has experience about where the problem can be ?

Yes, the /WP pin is pull up to Vcc.

After the program opration, I read the STATUS of the nand flash, it returns 0xC0, which show that the opration is success.

But the data still is full of 0xFF. I am nearly mad about it.
