Follow-ups

--- Mike Frysinger                                           2010-12-28 12:29:00

what chars are you talking about ?  it looks fine to me.

--- Vivi Li                                                  2010-12-28 21:20:49

The kernel prompt should be "root:/>", but now it's

">", "root:/" is missing.

--- Mike Frysinger                                           2010-12-28 21:23:46

i see "root:/>".  is each of those ">" you hitting

return ?  or is it debug output of expect ?

--- Vivi Li                                                  2010-12-28 21:33:15

There is nothing to do with expect. I run all this manually.

When I hit return right after kernel prompt, it shows ">".

But when I run a command, kernel prompt shows up correctly after the command

result.

Busybox-1.17.4 works fine, so maybe ask busybox-list for help.

--- Bob Liu                                                  2011-01-09 21:13:31

should be fixed by commit 10043

--- Vivi Li                                                  2011-01-17 02:28:59

OK. Close it.

--- Vivi Li                                                  2011-01-17 05:07:47

I find this bug is not completely fixed, reopen it.

When run a process in the background, character will be missing again.
