Summary: the sound is very very bad and test case fail in AD73311 driver testing on Board BF537-STAMP

Details:

 

the sound is very very bad in AD73311 driver testing on Board BF537-STAMP, can't hear sound clearly.But ad73311 driver testing on Board BF533-STAMP is well.

the second problem is when aplay sound, can't stop play only when you enter Ctrl_C.

I don't think so, problem still exist in my test.

The reason is the wave file recorded by arecord is bad(aplay works fine).

It must be sound capture's problem.I am still debugging on it.

It's my card's problem.

I changed a card, arecord and aplay works fine now.

 

And the reason of sound is very bad is the sound src format isn't 8k Mono.

If use 8k Mono and S16_LE sound src the sound is better and aplay should be

stop by itself.

And also do recording test via a host pc rather than the ipod.

The sound src format doesn't make a lot of difference.

the test case still fail. when arecord ,the time is too short. while time aplay

is too long.

so i report a new bug 6294.

It seems one of our ad7311-eval boards have hardware problem, i tested it on

another board it works fine.

And ad7311 only support format S16_LE and 8000 rate, tests will fail with other

values even using the no-hardware problem board.

I test it again and now the sound is more clear than before.

And i closed the bug 6247.
