Yi's point is that you need to disable all L1 options in the kernel in order for

the g729 to currently work.  the error you posted shows that you havent done

this: "L1 allocation failed"

 

read /proc/sram to see how things are allocated

I compared the two attached configures. I think the difference is in vivi's

config, "CONFIG_BFIN_MAC_USE_L1=y" - this is the cause of the error.

 

The g729 test configuration may need to be modified.

It can work now after CONFIG_BFIN_MAC_USE_L1 is disabled.
