Summary: smb mount slow if both of the ethernet cards are connected on bf518f ezbrd.

Details:

smb mount slow if both of the ethernet cards are connected(one card is connected to host machine directly 10.100.4.174, the other is connected to company network 10.99.29.xx). but DSA is disabled here and only eth0 is seen.

If you wait a while between every command to read or write to smb directory, maybe it works ok.

but as the test script runs, it would cost more time and failed with timeout. And the script runs ok on other boards.

If disconnect the line to company network, then the script can also pass on bf518 ezbrd.

The failed info like:

Follow-ups

--- Graf Yang                                                2009-06-23 00:27:10

Vivi said, many test are failed because of slow network.

--- Graf Yang                                                2009-06-24 22:32:25

As the KSZ8893M is a switcher, and now it is connected to company network, so

the test network(10.100.4.0) are exposed to company network.

I guess the reason is there are many 10.100.4.174 and 10.100.4.50 machines on

the same network. Both sides of tester/bf518 is confused, so they can't work

properly.

Please try to change the ip address to 233.122.87.81/233.122.87.18, and see if

the bug is disappeared.

--- Mingquan Pan                                             2009-06-26 05:46:43

After changing the ipaddress to another one, this issue can be solved.

So we disconnect the line which is connected to the company network and add

another ethernet card to the host machine, and set the ipaddress to 192.168.1.1

and reserve the 10.100.4.174.

It can pass the smb and dsa case now. So close.

--- Graf Yang                                                2009-06-29 05:55:35

So it is not a bug.
