a simple test case from alsa-lib that involves sysv shared memory causes a munmap error from the kernel:

shmid = shmget(... IPC_CREAT ...);

ptr = shmat(shmid, 0, 0);

shmdt(ptr);

<munmap error>

thanks, the test case and original issue (alsa) seems to be OK now
