Summary: linux-2.6.24 (delayed) disable IRQ feature not functional for handle_simple_irq

Details:

On 2.6.24 BF548-EZkit hit keypad button.

The kernel freezes and gets reset by the watchdog.

I root caused the issue and reported to the maintainers

  lkml.org/lkml/2008/2/19/106

As a workaround I will provide chip->disable and chip->enable functions for internal system IRQs handled by handle_simple_irq.
