Hi,

Could someone please let us know the estimated date of code freeze of linux kernel and distribution for the 2011R1 release. We need to submit a patch update for TLL6527Mv1-2 hardware support.

I checked the wiki, it mentions toolchain plan but couldn't find a time line for the linux kernel and distro.

   docs.blackfin.uclinux.org/doku.php?id=toolchain:plan:2011r1

Thanks & regards

Ashish

There is no new kernel features except the ICC/MCAPI for existing blackfin chips after the 2010R1 release. We may release a 2011R1 uClinux-dist for existing blackfin at the end of 2011, but this is not a highest priority work by now.

upgrading the kernel from 2.6.34.x to 3.0.x is pretty big all by itself
