On the Linux build computer, how do I build a binary that is u-boot and uImage combined for flashing directly onto the flash of my Blackfin board?

I am using u-boot v2011.03 from GIT and the latest 2010 release of uClinux for Blackfin.

My board is a CM-BF537E v3.2.1 from BlueTechnix. The hardware manual says that it has a 4M x 16 flash, connected to two async banks and GPIO PF4, making two addressable 2 MiB banks (and two unaddressable 2 MiB banks?).

there are no tools for doing this.  you'd have to manually combine the binaries and add appropriate 0xff padding yourself.

Why not flash 2 images into 2 adjacent partition of your flash?
